Happy New Year!!
Since the fall of man time has taken on a different role in our lives. Right now in much of the world people are celebrating the coming of a new year. Anticipating a fresh 365 days, making plans, and setting goals. They are looking back at the past 365 days and are either glad to see them go, or hope that the positive trend they are experiencing continues. Many are drafting ideas to better themselves and making resolutions, that if statistics are to be believed, by the time you get this have already been abandoned.
God on the other hand works outside of time. He has a plan to reach every man, woman, and child and bring them back into relationship with Him. His plan has been ongoing since before Adam and Eve. We just celebrated an integral part of that plan, the birth of his Son, Jesus. His plan for the salvation and restoration of His people will carry on into eternity, outside time as we experience it...
I would like to share how the Lord’s plan unfolded through YFC USA and our local ministry chapter, over the past year:
-Nationally, the number of youth that reported being in an Authentic Christ sharing relationship was 46,651, an increase of 10%!
-There were 9,246 youth, across the US, that committed their lives to Christ, which was up 19%!
For me these are the two most important areas. I can assure you that the Lord moved in a mighty way in our local facilities as well. The 50 servants the Lord has called into this ministry were beyond amazing. I can also attest that the Lord worked in and through the lives of each of them.
- Over 75 youth are in authentic Christ sharing relationships on a weekly basis.
- At least 12 youth committed their lives to the Lord.
- Over 50 young people asked for bibles during our Christmas programs.
- Our end of year funding challenge was exceeded.
I am very grateful for what the Lord has done in the past year in my life, through me, you, our supporters and friends, and through this ministry. I am excited about what He will do next in all these areas.
Thank you Lord, for all you have done and continue to do. Thank you for your unconditional love, mercy, and grace. Thank you for your Son. Thank you for the trials in our lives that bring us closer to you. Thank you for your provision. Thank you for using us in your plan to save your children. May everything we do bring glory to you. Amen
May your hunger for the Lord grow mightily in the coming year!
