Can sponsoring a day of golf change the lives of troubled youth?
Being a sponsor for our annual Youth for Christ Tournament enables us to recruit, train & place volunteers who visit troubled kids in treatment centers, detention, or incarceration facilities in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Canon City.
These young people often come from poverty, abuse, neglect, absentee parents, etc. The message of hope in Jesus Christ that our volunteers bring them is life changing.
We meet with over 125 youth weekly in groups or one-one-one in supervised coach mentoring relationships. Through 3 Story Evangelism, we invite them into authentic Christ sharing relationships. As these young people re-enter our communities, we come alongside them to help ensure that they start their new chapter with renewed hope, opportunities to be plugged into a local church, and relational support to give them a positive outlook on their future.
