SMILE on Tax Day 2020!

 Dear Friend:

​The state of Colorado has given us a reason to smile on Tax Day!  And, because of that you can smile too.

This year there’s a new Colorado program that allows you to support our work when you’re completing your state income tax return.
Because of this new state initiative, promoted through the ReFUND CO awareness campaign, you have another opportunity to support our important work with youth.  If you get a state income tax refund, it puts you in control of deciding if you want to donate some or all of it and which Colorado-registered charity will directly benefit.

For Southern Colorado Youth for Christ, this provides a new way for you to further your funding for our youth programs. This means more mentors and more programs in 2020! The ReFUND CO campaign shows how you can choose where your donation goes.

• Decide how much of your state income tax refund to donate (all or any portion of it).
• Enter Southern Colorado Youth for Christ and our registration number 20083004328 in the Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit Fund line on your return or tax software – or just give this info to your tax preparer when you share your tax documents.

(When you choose to donate from your state income tax refund, your contribution will go directly to us.)
