VOTE Everyday in June for Our Wings! Videos and Help Continue The FLIGHT

We have the opportunity to receive free funding for our ministry! But, we need your help….

Southern Colorado Youth for Christ has worked in ministry for over 21 years in Colorado Springs to bring restoration to youth who are at-risk, detained, and incarcerated. Breaking into their psychological, social, and biological stress to bring the spiritual restoration that only Jesus can provide.

WINGS! is one of our programs that seeks to bring this restoration. WINGS! was developed in 2010 with Peak Aviation, Cutter Aviation, and local pilots to provide local incarcerated youth with an incredible opportunity and the hope of a better future through flight training and the knowledge that there is a God who cares for them. It is based on the following scripture:

“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:30-31

Last week we had 5 youth graduate from this program which provides them with eight 2-hour training sessions that include computer simulator and verbal training, culminating in a graduation ceremony, certificate of completion, and an actual flight in a Cessna 172 where they are the pilot.

It’s easy and there is no donation required. All votes are DOUBLED IN JUNE, which means we receive more funding for every vote made. And, you can vote every day until June 30th!
