Here we are over halfway through another year. I was hoping to have great news about how all the facilities have opened and we are at full throttle in ministry. I also hoped to report that we had met our goal for the golf tournament with sponsors and golfers. I am sorry to say that I cannot report either one of these as happening. If there was ever a time when I need God’s patience, it is now. Last year was different to say the least and we saw God work things out as only he could do. This year feels worse in that we are just waiting. Everywhere you look things are getting back to normal so why can’t we get back into all the facilities and minister to the youth that need it so very much.
Businesses are getting back to some sense of normal and some are very busy. It is very difficult to get their attention to be part of what God is doing. Churches are responding to our calls, and we have been able to let the body of Christ know what God is doing and that they are needed to support his work. God’s timing is always perfect. I know he can open every door that needs opening. There are certainly reasons why they are not opening now. This is His ministry after all. I know that I have 28 volunteers that are more than ready to go into the facilities every week and bring the love of God to the youth and staff. The small amount of ministry we have been able to do, has been great. This was prayed over the ministry this past week. Psalms 24: 8-9 Who is the King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord invincible in battle. Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, And let the King of glory enter. Please pray doors will be opened so that the light of the King of Glory can reach his children. Ask God how you can support His ministry. I pray you are enjoying your summer. Blessings, Andy
