We are now officially in summer. Families are getting out and business are opening. As expected, the virus is on the rise in some areas. We really do not know what the rest of the year will look like. One thing I do know is that the Lord has his hands on all the doors of life. There have been many times when I tried to force doors open, did not see one that was open, or I simply closed doors that I really didn’t want to go through.
We still do not have access to the inside of the facilities and do not know when we will be able to go in. We have been doing prayer walks at the facilities to keep a sense of presence. The Lord has opened another door. Last week we received a call from a mother looking for help for her 17-year-old daughter. The Lord lead her to our website. I sent out word to our volunteers and got three quick responses. Isaiah 6:8 And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me,” Our volunteers definitely answered this call. We set up an appointment and were able to meet. Please keep this divine ministry opportunity in prayer. The young girls name is Angel. I am not one to read daily devotionals. In the past month I have looked at the daily devotional on my phone twice. Both times it was the same verse. Isa 43:19 “For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?” I see a lot of changes in the world, this ministry, and my life over just the past few months. Again, I know God’s hand is on them. I pray that I know the difference between what he is doing and what man is doing. I am excited because I know God only makes changes for the better in all areas. I pray you preserve the new thing he is doing in you as well. Let us all look forward to a wonderful summer in the Lord.
