All entries include breakfast, golf, golf cart, golf balls, assorted swag, and the Awards Luncheon. Complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available throughout the day to all Golfers and Sponsors.
Can sponsoring a day of golf change the lives of troubled youth?
Being a sponsor for our annual Youth for Christ Tournament enables us to recruit, train & place volunteers who work with and coach/mentor youth in treatment, detention, or incarceration in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Canon City.
These young people may have committed crimes or have been victims of crime themselves. Most don’t have productive authoritative relationships and many feel hopeless alienation.
We meet with over 125 youth a week in groups or one-one-one coach/mentoring sessions. Through 3 Story Evangelism, we give youth a chance to have authentic Christ sharing relationships.
We also provide community programs and aftercare programs that help transition them back into community.
As these young people are re-introduced back into our communities and neighborhoods, we want to help ensure they start with a new sense of hope and a positive outlook on their future.
