We have a variety of direct youth ministry volunteer opportunities available for Individuals.  In these roles you will work with young people who are incarcerated, detained, or treated at juvenile serving institutions, at our office, or in our community. You will need to go through our application process to volunteer in one of these capacities:

In Facility
​Coach/Mentor

Start one-on-one ministry with youth inside facilities and continue your relationship on the outside.

After Care
Coach/Mentor

Provide youth with ongoing services like: coach/mentors, local church community, jobs, and physical needs.

Group Bible
​Study Leader

Lead group Bible studies inside facilities All groups and times are dictated by the facility and SOCO YFC.

Activity ​Coach

Provide coaching in sports or an activity. Times are based on facility availability and scheduled by SOCO YFC.

​Speaker

Come to inspire and speak to our youth about various topics inside the facilities we minister in.

Community Involvement

Organizations minister to our youth inside facilities  and provide new experiences for our youth outside facilities. 

Our volunteer process to work with youth may seem EXTENSIVE, but it is designed to protect the youth we serve, you, and our ministry to them.
