Spring is in the air. We have 50 degrees one day, and 10 inches of snow or more the next. Buds are coming out on trees and grass is turning green. Things are coming to life. Growth is everywhere! The Lord continues to bring life to His ministry. The number of servant's going into the facilities has grown to just over 40 total! We often have 10 or more servants going into the units each week, plowing hard ground, removing rocks, pulling weeds, and making the ground receptive to seed from the Kingdom of Heaven.
The biggest growth that has been going on is in the youth. After 20 plus years of going into these facilities, I have never seen some of the things that I have over the past few months. When I go on a pod, I see youth reading their bibles! There are several bibles out and the youth have been reading during the week. In one pod, (a pod has eight to ten youth), two young men were taking turns reading The Word to each other.
Our Pueblo team went into a pod, and were asked by the kids if they could do a bible study. All the youth participated. The next week I was with them and in the same pod we were told that they had their own bible study during the week. This particular unit was one that did not care about God in the past. Several young people have given their lives to Christ, or recommitted them to the Lord. The staff at all the facilities have been a blessing and even participate in prayer with us.
Great progress has been made getting into Southern Peaks to minister to the 45 youth there. I recently met with their program director and they are very excited to have us there. We have at least nine servants interested in ministering there.
Financially we have been blessed, but we do still need about 30% growth in the budget to enable us to get into the school system in the Fall. God is growing the ministry, and we need additional staff to grow with it.
You are such a blessing and so much a part of this growth! We are very grateful for your support through your prayers and donations!
May your Spring be filled with growth from the Lord.
Thank you,
Andy
